Understanding the best in ear hearing aids requires a little professional help.

Understanding the best in ear hearing aids requires a little professional help.

best-in-ear-hearing-aidsWhen it comes to hearing aids, you have both behind the ear and in ear models. While behind the ear models can offer less visibility and plenty of comfort, some people prefer in ear models. There are many reasons for this, including even less visibility than behind the ear models. Of course, if you’re interested in finding the best in ear hearing aids, you’ll need a little help.

That’s where Pindrop comes in. Our professional audiologists will conduct a through hearing exam when you visit our office in order to determine which types of hearing aids are best suited to your needs. There are quite a few different in ear models from which to choose, and they’re not quite the same.

For instance, some people will benefit more from a conventional ITE (in the ear) hearing aid. However, these aren’t as unnoticeable as many people prefer. In that case, you might benefit more from an in the canal model. These are very comfortable, are almost completely hidden in the canal, and can be adjusted easily for higher or lower volume.

Finally, there are CIC, or completely in the canal, hearing aids. These are the best in ear hearing aid for those who want as little visibility as possible, but don’t want to go for an invisible in canal hearing aid.

At Pindrop, we can help you make sense of the best hearing aids for your hearing loss, budget and comfort level. Call us today at 416-484-4327 to learn more or to schedule a hearing evaluation.
